About Iran’s Home of Swimming
Iran’s Home of Swimming (IRSWIM) is a specialized platform dedicated to swimming education, water safety, lifesaving education and drowning prevention.
Our goal is to improve swimming literacy, promote a culture of water safety and provide reliable educational resources for families, swimmers, coaches, lifeguards and aquatic professionals.
Iran’s Home of Swimming was established based on years of practical experience in swimming instruction, officiating, lifesaving, aquatic sports management and public education. Our content combines practical experience with internationally recognized standards to help make water activities safer for everyone.
We believe swimming is much more than a sport—it is an essential life skill that every person should have.

Our Vision
Our vision is to become the leading Persian-language reference for swimming education, water safety and drowning prevention while strengthening international cooperation in aquatic safety.
Our History
Iran’s Home of Swimming is a private initiative that began its activities in 2011 in the field of aquatic sports education and information, with a special focus on swimming and lifesaving.
Over time, we expanded our presence across various social media platforms—including Facebook, Telegram and Instagram—to stay connected with aquatic sports enthusiasts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we proudly organized social campaigns and free specialized workshops to support the swimming and lifesaving community.
Our experts have researched and translated educational resources from leading countries in swimming and lifesaving, including Australia and the United Kingdom. Based on this research, we have designed courses that align with the standards of Iranian federations while introducing students to the latest methods in swimming education, lifesaving and water safety.

Our Campaign: Together Towards Safer Water
Iran’s Home of Swimming is the organizer of the public awareness campaign “Together Towards Safer Water”, inspired by the Global Drowning Prevention Strategy of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Preventing drowning requires collective action. Families, educators, lifeguards, governments, healthcare professionals and communities all have a role to play in creating safer environments around water.
